I'm Ġanni, a born-and-raised Maltese and a licensed tourist guide with a passion for sharing the history, culture, traditions, and fascinating stories of my beautiful island. THE CONCEPT BEHIND TOUR WITH ĠANNI My concept is simple: to offer authentic, personal experiences that go beyond traditional sightseeing. When you book with Tour with Ġanni, you're booking directly with me. I'm the person who will personally guide you, sharing my knowledge, experiences, and love for the island I call home. I believe that discovering Malta should be more than admiring beautiful buildings and hearing historical dates. Behind every monument, street, and hidden corner are fascinating stories of real people who shaped our islands. My tours combine Malta's famous landmarks with lesser-known places, untold stories, local traditions, and the everyday lives of the Maltese people throughout history. I want visitors not only to see Malta, but to feel its character, understand its heritage, and experience it through the eyes of someone who grew up here. WHAT I OFFER From small-group walking tours of Valletta and guided visits to St. John's Co-Cathedral to private, tailor-made experiences across Malta, I offer something for different interests and travel styles. Having spent around ten years working as a professional chef, including aboard yachts, I also bring my passion for food and wine into my experiences, introducing visitors to authentic Maltese flavours and culinary traditions. I also create interactive tours and team-building experiences that combine history, storytelling, exploration, and fun. A PERSONAL TOUCH I believe every visitor deserves more than a rehearsed presentation. I enjoy conversations, questions, sharing stories, and creating genuine connections with the people I guide.
